This is a rain or shine event but not a storm event. \nThe event is funded in part by the Friends of Clapp Memorial Library. Free books are funded by the Friends of Clapp Memorial Library and a Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at 6PM on in the Town Hall Auditorium for an interactive show with local author\, Dorothy Cresswell. Through songs and stories\, children will learn about animals and be part of discussions about diversity\, welcoming one and all\, and recognizing the wonder in the world. \n \n  \nFollowing the show\, the Odyssey Bookshop will have a table available for families to purchase Dorothy’s book and have them signed. \nDorothy Cresswell is a Nationally Board Certified Early Childhood teacher. She taught preschool through third grade in Massachusetts public schools and private day care centers for over thirty years. DESCRIPTION:All the children that complete Plant A Seed\, Read! (logging 8 hours in Beanstack) are invited to join the fun at our finale. \nBack by popular demand\, Ed Popielarczyk\, will present his comical magic show. Many in Belchertown know Ed as the “Balloon Guy” that has attended the Belchertown Fair for many years. Join us for laughs and amazement geared to people of all ages. \nAfter the show we will celebrate more with a cookie decorating station\, games and activities. All children will get to pick out their free book and will receive some local coupons\, such as Claymates and Cindy’s Drive-In. \nThis is a rain or shine event. Families will receive an email from Jennifer Whitehead about a week before the event to ask families to let us know if you plan to attend and how many in your family. \nProgram is funded by Friends of the Clapp Memorial Library and our Community sponsors
